Regional portal KAMRA is a web based information system that joins the local studies information, collected and disseminated by public libraries and other cultural and educational institutions. With coordinated co-operation of regional partner intuitions, information is accessible through a single portal, even though it is created in different institutions, each covering the areas they are most competent for.
The portal makes it possible to access digitised contents, full-text, information, programmes and projects from one place, thus offering quicker, easier and more direct search. KAMRA portal brings the wealth of cultural heritage and activities of libraries, museums and archives to all Slovene residents and promotes Slovene knowledge and culture in the world. Connection in the regions are becoming stronger by establishing different partnerships on regional level.
