French Literary Circle: Virginie Despentes – Vernon Subutex

At the French Literary Circle entitled On the paths of modern French literature we read and discuss novels of the renowned francophone writers. This time we will discuss the novel by the French writer Virginie Despentes, Vernon Subutex I, a picturesque journey of the hero though seemingly organized bourgeois suburbs and the dark underground intestines of Paris.
