Presentation of Books with an English Fairy-Tale Hour
The modern teaching aids for learning to read English, which follow the curriculum, will be presented in the form of a performance for children by the author of the books, Petra Žitko, MA Professor of Class Teaching with English.
The event is aimed at children from 5 to 10 years old and all professionals and parents interested in using the two new books as the first steps in reading English. The topics and content follow the foreign language curriculum. Young readers are supported in their reading by a picture-dictionary of new words. At the end of the books, there is a systematic sequence of tasks covering pre-reading and post-reading activities. The tasks are differentiated by difficulty and cover reading activities as well as writing and speaking activities. The font and formatting of the book are fully adapted to students with dyslexia and reading-writing difficulties, and the spacing and appropriate grammatical structure of the text make reading easier and clearer.
The presentation of the books will be accompanied by an English fairy-tale: Freddie’s Adventures.
