Nove Poljane Library

Nove Poljane Public Library is a fairly small local library which has been in operation since 2003. At the beginning it was intended to be a children’s library. Today our collection of material and our library activity attract young families in particular while our special attention is still focused on children’s literature. 60 per cent of more than 6,000 units of library material are materials for children and the rest are materials for adult readers.

A special feature of our library is a film collection which represents almost a quarter of the whole library material. The library has also a children’s film corner where we show films and organize workshops.

In the gallery, there is a reading room with the multi-purpose library area which is used for self-directed learning, exhibitions, workshops and for various presentations and lectures.
The library has a modern design solution and equipment. It represents a pleasant area for socializing and spending your spare time.
