Black Wolf

The Black Wolf is the second novel, after The Red Queen, about the brilliant investigator Antonia Scott and her protector, the witty police inspector Jon Gutiérrez. Under the leadership of the Mentor, they are the main actors in the Spanish cell of the secret international project Red Queen, which solves complex and sensitive crimes. Antonia and Jon are called to the scene of an attempted murder. Unknown assailants attempted to kill Lola, the pregnant wife of Russian businessman and mafia member Yuri Voronin, in a shopping centre. Lola has disappeared, and Yuri is found dead in his home. The police set out on the trail of illegal businesses to find Lola as soon as possible, as many people want her dead. In the Spanish underworld, many groups are fighting for control of capital and drugs, and the cult killer Black Wolf is on her way to Spain. Antonia has to face her own fears, as she has not yet forgotten the events that took place in Valencia seven months ago. Born in 1977, the Spanish writer and journalist has courageously delved into the heart of contemporary society with his trilogy of crime novels.
