Brick-red Marbles

The story of a boy who is growing up in a time that many of us still vividly remember. A Swiss writer, born and raised in Yugoslavia, tells us a story through a series of episodes in which the boy percieves the system as something repulsive. Without any tension between the adults, readers are left with only the child’s point of view which makes the novel especially interesting. (AH)
