September 1977. Maria Callas is 53 years old and has not performed in front of an audience for more than four years. She spends her final days in a luxurious Paris apartment, where her only company is her loyal housekeeper Bruna and her butler Ferruccio. Torn between the past and the present, she hopes to rediscover her voice and return to the stage.
