The last devil to die

Kuldesh Sharma, owner of an antique shop, unexpectedly receives a shipment of heroin. Shortly thereafter, he is found dead. After a turbulent and crime-filled past few months, the residents of the Sunny Grove retirement community are hoping for calmer days. But since Kuldesh was a friend of the four members of the Thursday Murder Club, the seniors naturally have to get involved in the investigation. There are many candidates for murder in the drug trade, and in order to find the culprit, the suspects set a trap. Elizabeth stays more in the background this time, as she faces the dementia of her beloved Stephen, so Joyce takes over the leadership of the club. Ron remains charmingly grumpy, while the wise Ibrahim is finally ready to reveal a part of his past. The fourth part of The Thursday Murder Club series is also full of humorous incidents, with resourceful seniors playing the leading roles.
