The northman

The young prince Amleth is on the verge of becoming a man when his father is brutally murdered by his uncle, who kidnaps the boy’s mother. As Amleth flees his island kingdom by boat, he vows revenge. Two decades later, Amleth is a Viking berserker who attacks Slavic villages, where a clairvoyant reminds him of his vow: to avenge his father, rescue his mother, and kill his uncle. After traveling by slave ship to Iceland, Amleth, with the help of Olga, an enslaved Slavic woman, sneaks into his uncle’s farm—and sets out to fulfill his vow.
