By logging into your Cobiss profile you may access a series of services that will ease your online management of membership and borrowed materials.
Check the borrowed and reserved materials
In the profile, you may see your library, membership number, the number of borrowed and reserved materials, and the number of borrowed e-books.
Extend the loan period
Click on the tab “on loan” and a page will open, showing your borrowed materials. For extending the loan period, check the frame in the 1st column, then click “renew selected”.
Reserve materials
Borrowed or free materials available in our library may be found in the catalogue, and by clicking “reserve” you may reserve it and pick it up in the library, where the reservation has been made, after receiving the proper notification. Up to five units of materials may be reserved in one day.
Order materials by inter-library loan
If the desired material is not available in the library, you may order it through inter-library loan.
Extending membership, debts and restrictions
Unsettled debts and other restrictions (such as expired membership) may be viewed in your profile by clicking “debts, restrictions”, where they may be settled.
Check history of borrowing
Look into your history of borrowed materials in the last year or in previous years after clicking the “loan history.”
Be notified
By using the possibility “e-notification” you may, in drop down lists or in tabs, choose between settings, entering e-mail address and phone number. Next to the chosen notification mark whether you wish to receive it by mail or as an SMS.
- Message about reservation expiry,
- Message about availability of reserved material,
- Message about forthcoming expiry of loan period,
- Message about forthcoming overdue notice,
- Message about membership expiry,
- General library messages.
Change your password
Password may be acquired or changed by clicking “Changing your password”. In case you have forgotten your password, you may send a request for acquiring a new one by clicking “forgotten password” next to the form for setting your password.
