Ljubljana City Library welcomes everyone who has recently moved to Ljubljana, is learning Slovenian, would like to read in their own language, or simply wants to feel more at home in the city.
Across our libraries, you can find books and other materials in different languages, free activities in Slovenian and other languages, reading groups, children’s storytime events, and digital content for reading, watching, and listening. You can also join relaxed Slovenian language conversations, follow information about Slovenian language courses, or take part in book clubs in English, German, Romanian, French, Italian, and Spanish.
The Multicultural Library page also brings together useful information for foreigners living in Slovenia, including links to organizations and services that offer support with integration, language learning, legal help, humanitarian aid, and everyday life.
