Opis
We are a partner in the G-BOOK 3 project, the follow-up to G-BOOK 2, co-funded by Creative Europe. The project aims to promote youth literature that is free from gender bias and the important role it plays in raising awareness among young people. It aims to do this through the production of a bibliography at European level, which will be available on the project’s website after the project has ended. The participating libraries will add new copies of the books recommended in the international bibliography to their collection of books for young people. The partners will link up with a local secondary school to run workshops on social and emotional education and digital content creation in collaboration with experts. During the project, the participating young people from all partner countries will create the following content for the digital platforms, based on the international bibliography: BookTok, Book Review and Group Vlog.
In addition to the Ljubljana City Library, the project involves ten partners from Albania, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Spain and the Czech Republic. The project is coordinated by the Pioneer Centre for Youth Literature and Librarianship.
