The English Book Club

Nick Hornby’s A long way down (2005) is a moving but also a hilarious book. Although dealing with intended suicides, it never seems glum or depressing. The story, which is narrated from the point of view of the four main characters, will be enjoyed by the readers who aprreciate serious themes presented in a humorous way.

The Book club will take place in the Hall of Oton Župančič Library (3rd floor).
