Fužine Library

The Fužine library is located in the Nove Fužine Residential Home for the Elderly in the centre of Fužine and is considered to be Fužine’s main cultural venue.
Along with the borrowing of materials, free use of computers and internet access are also available in the library. Newspapers and magazines may be read in our spacious and bright reading room that also contains a smaller exhibiting area intended for local and other artists.

Literary evenings, workshops, presentations of new books, travelogues and professional lectures are held each week in our reading room. Here every week fairy-tales are being told to our youngest visitors. In the summer we organize fairy-tale hours in the Labyrinth of Art Park near the library.

Employees of the Fužine library regularly cooperate with the quarter community Moste as well as with other local organizations and projects.
