Podpeč Library

Podpeč Library is located on the ground floor of the Podpeč cultural home in the middle of the village. It’s bright and has modern equipment.

Our very young visitors can draw in the children’s corner, watch picture books or listen to stories, while adults can read topical contributions in newspapers.

The library occasionally holds events for adults. Special attention is also dedicated to the activities with young readers. We organize workshops for children and make book quizzes and riddles. Children from local nursery school and school children often attend organized visits of the library and there is story time for pre-school children in the afternoon on a regular basis.

In cooperation with The Regional Park the Ljubljana Marshes we edit The Ljubljana Marshes Corner where our users can find a lot of interesting and free-of-charge material about the Ljubljana Marshes.
