Slavonic focus: South-Slavonic literature

This year’s reading action, The Slavonic focus, started on September 15th and will last until November 15th , 2022. The reading focus is on literature from South Slavonic countries: Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia. We have chosen some interesting and quality literary works from these states, and added a few titles from Slovenia, thus forming a reading list, which consists of 24 reading hints.

By reading the books from the list you will be able to get better acquainted with South Slavonic literatures and also to compete in the award draw. In larger branch libraries of the LCL you may find a form, on which you write down your personal information and cite two books you have read. Please drop the filled-in form into the ‘voting’ box.

The draw for the awards will take place in November, and literary awards will be provided by the Police Dubove Cultural-Artistic Society.
