In the LCL we provide free access to electronic resource Encyclopedia Britannica Online, Public Library Edition. Access is enabled from any location of the library to all users, while remote access is enabled only to members of the library.
Encyclopedia Britannica Online, Public Library Edition is exactly the same in contents as the Britannica Academic Edition, except that it is divided according to age groups and designed for public library users. Search results are transparently divided to academic, student and child groups. Each of the groups receives age-adapted explanations of the entries and pictorial materials as well as didactical accessories that encourage research and also learning of English among younger users.
