The English Book Club: Intimacies

Intimacies is a novel that Katie Kitamura published in 2021. It immediately made its way to the New York Times Best Seller List. In Intimacies, as in the previous novels, Kitamura writes in a well-polished, smooth style. We will be reading a stirring novel of suspense, as the intimate storyline between the main (unnamed) female protagonist and her (married) lover Adriaan is intertwined with a political tale of violence, lies and manipulation at the highest governmental levels.

The meeting will take place in the mediateque (in the basement).
